Love in Action
9 Love must be sincere. Hate what is evil; cling to what is good. 10 Be devoted to one another in love. Honor one another above yourselves. 11 Never be lacking in zeal, but keep your spiritual fervor, serving the Lord. 12 Be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, faithful in prayer. 13 Share with the Lord’s people who are in need. Practice hospitality.
14 Bless those who persecute you; bless and do not curse.
Dear Lord, Help my love to be sincere. Help me to cling to what is good. Guide me in my devotion to loving others and honoring others. Keep me zealous for serving you, Lord. I will be joyful in hope, patient in troubled times, and faithful in prayer. Give me strength and courage. Help me to strive to bless others even when they may not treat me well, or I may feel that I have been treated poorly. I know I find my worth and value in my Lord and Savior. In Jesus’ Name I Pray, Amen.
