When life feels like a storm, we often look for peace by trying to control our circumstances. True peace isn’t the removal of problems, but the assurance of God’s presence in the midst of them. Jesus offers a peace that is not fragile like the world’s peace. It is a calm anchored in His unchanging love, allowing us to rest in His security rather than our own strength.
Lord Jesus, thank You for Your perfect peace that passes all understanding. When the storms of life threaten to overwhelm me, help me to stop trying to control everything and instead trust in Your presence. Calm my anxious heart and help me to rest in Your unfailing love. Amen.
