Acts 13:1-3

by | Dec 31, 2018 | Vital Life Application Devotions

For the month of December, learn how to worship. Worship is an attitude of the body and spirit. Thanksgiving and praise are vocal which means they come from our mouth. Worship is an attitude or position of the body and spirit in which you come before God. Worship can be expressed vocally, but it must come with an attitude of the body like bending the upper part of the body forward, stretching out the hands, bending the head low, or laying face down with arms stretched out to the side prostrate facing downward. Worship is bowing low both physically and spiritually with wonder and honor. Bow your heart low in God’s presence.

Acts 13:1-3 New International Version (NIV)

13 Now in the church at Antioch there were prophets and teachers: Barnabas,Simeon called Niger, Lucius of Cyrene, Manaen (who had been brought up with Herod the tetrarch) and Saul. While they were worshiping the Lord and fasting, the Holy Spirit said, “Set apart for me Barnabas and Saul for the work to which I have called them.” So after they had fasted and prayed, they placed their hands on them and sent them off.
