⁵ For this very reason, make every effort to add to your faith goodness; and to goodness, knowledge; ⁶ and to knowledge, self-control; and to self-control, perseverance; and to perseverance, godliness; ⁷ and to godliness, mutual affection; and to mutual affection, love.

Dear Father, I will make every effort to add to my faith, goodness. I will make every effort to add knowledge to goodness. With my knowledge, I will work toward self-control. Through all this I will persevere in godliness, affection, and love for others. Thank you. In Jesus’ Name I Pray, Amen.
