4 By faith Abel brought God a better offering than Cain did. By faith he was commended as righteous, when God spoke well of his offerings. And by faith Abel still speaks, even though he is dead.
Faith is not doctrine or theology. Faith is all about relationship. Faith is about trust in God. God is a Person. Faith is confidence in the Character of God. God is reliable. God is trustworthy. God is long suffering. God is patient.
Dear Father, I know that faith is a relationship with you, Lord. I know that faith is about trust. I have confidence in your character, Father. You are reliable and trustworthy. Thank you for being long suffering and patient. For who knows when a person may find his or her relationship with you. Only you know, and you know who will belong to you. Thank you in that I am your daughter in Christ. Thank you. In Jesus’ Name I Pray, Amen.
