Philippians 4:4-6 New International Version (NIV)
Final Exhortations
4 Rejoice in the Lord always. I will say it again: Rejoice! 5 Let your gentleness be evident to all. The Lord is near. 6 Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.
Thanksgiving a praise give us direct access to our Father. Praise is offered to God for who He is and what He does and what He has done for us. Praise is vocal. When we praise, it takes all His greatness and makes it specific to our own cases. Let your requests be made known.
Dear Father, Great are you Lord and greatly are you to be praised. I offer my praise to you, Lord. You are great. You are great in wisdom. You are great in power. You are great in your creative works. You are great in your redemptive acts. You are great in your dealings with me. Everything that you do, Father, is great. I praise you, God. I praise you! In Jesus’ Name I Pray, Amen.
