Christians need to make it their primary goal to please God and proclaim salvation. Christians have a responsibility to be involved in the world as well.
We are to pray for all those in authority (1 Timothy 2:1-2) and be good citizens (Titus 3:1). We should be the “salt of the earth,” and “the light of the world,” shining brightly that others “may see your good works, and glorify your Father who is in heaven” (Matthew 5:13-16).
Today, the world needs Christians who are the salt of the earth, who are examples of integrity and honesty, and who show compassion and concern. Be ready to stand up for your faith. Pray. As God leads you, get involved!
