1 Peter 2:17-18New International Version (NIV)

17 Show proper respect to everyone, love the family of believers, fear God, honor the emperor.

18 Slaves, in reverent fear of God submit yourselves to your masters, not only to those who are good and considerate, but also to those who are harsh.

Dear Father, You want me to show proper respect to everyone. I am to love the family of believers. I am to fear God which means I am to honor and obey. I am to honor leaders. In reverent respect, I am to submit to authority. Thank you. In Jesus’ Name I Pray, Amen.
