5 He took him outside and said, “Look up at the sky and count the stars—if indeed you can count them.” Then he said to him, “So shall your offspring be.”
Abram was not promised wealth. He was not promised fame. He was promised descendants like the stars in the sky or the grains of sand on the seashores. Have you ever had a time of despairing? Remember, God’s blessings are beyond our imagination.
