Borrowed

The earth is the Lord’s, and everything in it, the world, and all who live in it;  Psalm 24:1

Whenever I start to get greedy about things, I am often humbled when I am reminded that none of this stuff that I am getting worked up over is mine anyway.  It is like when someone loans you their tools or house to use for a short time and we are entrusted to take care of things, and even improve upon them while we are managing things.  Its not an easy thing to do, but one that can be done.  We are just stewards of all that we are entrusted with here for a short time, so instead of just trying to get the most of everything, let’s try to use what we have for good, to benefit others, and somehow for God’s glory.  Let us strive to do the best we can with what we have been given for this short time!  It is a reminder I often need each day.

Yours in Christ,

Clark
