20 When you go to war against your enemies and see horses and chariots and an army greater than yours, do not be afraid of them, because the Lord your God, who brought you up out of Egypt, will be with you.
Just like the Israelites, we sometimes face problems that will overwhelm us. No matter where you are, whether at school, work, or home, you can feel outnumbered and helpless. How did God help the Israelites? He bolstered their confidence by reminding them that he was always with them, and that he had already saved them from the potential danger. How about us today? You can also feel secure. As a believer in Jesus Christ, know that God is with you and is able to overcome even the most difficult odds. Put your faith and trust in God. He has a plan for your life, and most of all, you belong to him and he belongs to you. No matter what, whether here on earth or eternity with the Lord, he has you in the palm of his hand.
