Concerning Food Sacrificed to Idols

8 Now about food sacrificed to idols: We know that “We all possess knowledge.”But knowledge puffs up while love builds up.

We can become arrogant when we value knowledge more than love. When we become more interested in ourselves and the world, we can fall into self preoccupation. Spend more time looking at God and less time looking at oneself. When we get to know God, we get to ourselves more. To receive God’s love, we must receive it in a vulnerable state. Be in the just as I am state of being.
