⁵ Let the godly strike me!
    It will be a kindness!
If they correct me, it is soothing medicine.
    Don’t let me refuse it.

But I pray constantly
    against the wicked and their deeds.
⁶ When their leaders are thrown down from a cliff,
    the wicked will listen to my words and find them true.
⁷ Like rocks brought up by a plow,
    the bones of the wicked will lie scattered without burial.

Dear Father, May I listen to what is right, and may I listen to godly counsel. I know that when I receive godly advice it is kindness to me. When I am corrected to keep me from doing wrong, may I never refuse it. I want to be in constant prayer. I want to read your Word and live in the Truth and Light. I know your Word is Truth. Thank you for your Word of Truth. In Jesus’ Name I Pray, Amen.
