So, whether you eat or drink, or whatever you do, do all to the glory of God. 1 Corinthians 10:31
We often go through our day without thinking much beyond what is in front of us and what tasks we have planned for the day. We may acknowledge God before devotions, with a prayer before we eat, or when we get in a bind that we can’t immediately fix on our own. We often overlook the influence He can have in the normal or mundane parts of our day, but it can be a meaningful experience when we ask Him to direct our steps during these uneventful times. All we have to do is invite Him to lead us, to direct our eyes and mind in what He would have for us in any given moment. Pray for that stranger you just drove or walked by, ask to see opportunities to share more than just a hello to a friend, or ask him to make a heart change when you are not in a good place. We all have the potential for great things, whether for a moment or a lifetime, but we may need some guidance along the way. Make it a point to seek that out at different times today and let those experiences guide you to even more the next day. I pray that your time spent in communion with God always proves fruitful.
Rejoice always, pray without ceasing, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you. 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18
Yours in Christ,
Clark
