⁷ These have come so that the proven genuineness of your faith—of greater worth than gold, which perishes even though refined by fire—may result in praise, glory and honor when Jesus Christ is revealed. ⁸ Though you have not seen him, you love him; and even though you do not see him now, you believe in him and are filled with an inexpressible and glorious joy,

Dear Father, Blessed are those who believe even though they did not see Jesus in person like the apostles did. My faith is more valuable than gold. My faith can never perish. May my faith praise you, Lord. May my faith bring glory and honor to you, Lord. Even though I have not seen you, Jesus, I love you. I believe in you, and I am filled with joy because of my faith.
