Faith and Deeds

¹⁴ What good is it, my brothers and sisters, if someone claims to have faith but has no deeds? Can such faith save them? ¹⁵ Suppose a brother or a sister is without clothes and daily food. ¹⁶ If one of you says to them, “Go in peace; keep warm and well fed,” but does nothing about their physical needs, what good is it? ¹⁷ In the same way, faith by itself, if it is not accompanied by action, is dead.

Dear Lord, Help me grow my faith. Help me to deepen my faith. Help me to cultivate my faith. Help me to use my faith. What good is my faith unless it is ingrained in me. When I have faith, I want to do good things. When I do good things, my faith in you is matured. My faith alone cannot grow unless it is going hand in hand with a heart to put my faith into action. Thank you, Lord, for my faith. I cherish my faith and my relationship with you, Lord Jesus. In Jesus’ Name I Pray, Amen.
