Naomi Loses Her Husband and Sons

1 In the days when the judges ruled, there was a famine in the land. So a man from Bethlehem in Judah, together with his wife and two sons, went to live for a while in the country of Moab.

Dear Father, There are dark days in this world. People seem to do whatever is right in their own eyes. May I follow you, Lord. May I grow in loyalty. May I grow in friendship with you, Lord. May I mature in commitment to you, Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. In Jesus’ Name I Pray, Amen.
