New International Version
32 The Lord gave Lachish into Israel’s hands, and Joshua took it on the second day. The city and everyone in it he put to the sword, just as he had done to Libnah.
In every victory, the Israelites give credit to God. All of Israel’s victories came from God. They did not take credit. There may be successes in your life where you may be tempted to take the credit and glory as if you succeeded on your own and in your own strength. It is important to remember to give God the credit for your victories. God gives us our victories, and he alone delivers us from enemies. Praise him for his goodness.
