29 The secret things belong to the Lord our God, but the things revealed belong to us and to our children forever, that we may follow all the words of this law.
As a parent, do you give your child information he or she may not be ready to process or understand? As a parent, do you explain answers to questions that are appropriate for the level of maturity? God has chosen not to reveal everything to us. He has his reasons, just as you as a parent, have your reasons. But, maybe the reasons we are not told everything may be due to the following: First, our finite minds cannot fully understand the infinite details of God’s nature and the universe. Then, there are things that are not revealed until there is maturity. Finally, God is all-knowing, and we are not. Even though God has not told us everything, he has told us enough. Remember, disobedience comes from an act of the will. So, recognize his claim on your life and know that you are saved by faith.
