Psalm 142:5-7New Living Translation (NLT)
5 Then I pray to you, O Lord.
I say, “You are my place of refuge.
You are all I really want in life.
6 Hear my cry,
for I am very low.
Rescue me from my persecutors,
for they are too strong for me.
7 Bring me out of prison
so I can thank you.
The godly will crowd around me,
for you are good to me.”
Dear Father, I will pray continually to you. You are my refuge. You are all I really want in life. Please hear me when I cry to you. There are times when I feel sad and depressed. I need you to rescue me. Bring me out of my depression. If I focus on you, Lord, things do not seem as bad. I can thank you daily for providing for my needs. You are good to me, Lord. Thank you. In Jesus’ Name I Pray, Amen.
