Grace Before a Meal

Deuteronomy 8:10 New International Version (NIV)

10 When you have eaten and are satisfied, praise the Lord your God for the good land he has given you.

This verse is a main verse for saying grace before and after eating a meal. This verse was a warning for the Israelites not to forget God when their needs and wants were satisfied. Use your table prayers before a meal as a reminder of the Lord’s goodness and provision for you. This is a daily relationship builder as you grow in your daily life with God.
