¹ Great is the Lord, and most worthy of praise,
    in the city of our God, his holy mountain.

Begin times of prayer with praise and thanksgiving. Praise is offered to God for who He is and what He has done. Thanksgiving is offered to God for what He has done for us. Praise should be offered in the proportion of God’s Person. God is Great!

Dear Father, My thanksgiving is vocal. The Lord is great. I know that I have direct access to you, God, through praise and thanksgiving. I make my requests known to you, Father. Thank you for your loving care and long suffering and patience. Thank you. In Jesus’ Name I Pray, Amen.
