19 Then the Spirit of the Lord came powerfully upon him. He went down to Ashkelon, struck down thirty of their men, stripped them of everything and gave their clothes to those who had explained the riddle. Burning with anger, he returned to his father’s home. 20 And Samson’s wife was given to one of his companions who had attended him at the feast.
Samson used his special gift God gave him for selfish purposes. God distributes skills and abilities throughout the church. The Apostle, Paul, states that our gifts are to be used to build up the church and the ‘body of Christ’. As you use the gifts God has given you, you are helping others and not just yourself. It is a two way benefit. When you help others, you reap the good will of helping. The ones you help get the benefit of your help. Helping others is a blessing to the helper and the one being helped.
