Job 42:10-11 New International Version (NIV)
10 After Job had prayed for his friends, the Lord restored his fortunes and gave him twice as much as he had before. 11 All his brothers and sisters and everyone who had known him before came and ate with him in his house. They comforted and consoled him over all the trouble the Lord had brought on him, and each one gave him a piece of silver and a gold ring.
Would the message of Job change if God did not restore blessings to Job? I do not think it would change. God is sovereign. Jesus said that anyone who gives up something for the Kingdom of God will be repaid. Your restoration may or may not be the same kind as Job’s which was spiritual and material. Your complete restoration may not be in this life, but it WILL happen. God loves you. God is just. God will not only restore whatever you have lost unjustly, but he will also give you more than you could ever imagine living with him for eternity. Hold tightly to your faith through good times and bad times. God will reward you.
