25 Adam and his wife were both naked, and they felt no shame.
Parents, if you have ever had one of your children run naked through the house after a bath, they show no embarrassment. They do not know they are not aware of the nakedness. They are innocent and unaware. Just as Adam and Eve had innocence and were unaware in the beginning. Sin brings shame and awkwardness. Sin creates barriers. Sin creates areas in our lives we do not want others to see or God to see. Sin causes us to hide. In marriage, husbands and wives need to have spiritual, emotional, and intellectual intimacy with each other. If we hide, there is a break down. Expose your secret thoughts to God and communicate with him. He knows everything anyway. Keep yourself open and honest with God, and your marriage will flourish through him.
