Isaiah 66:1-2New International Version (NIV)

Judgment and Hope

66 This is what the Lord says:

“Heaven is my throne,
and the earth is my footstool.
Where is the house you will build for me?
Where will my resting place be?
Has not my hand made all these things,
and so they came into being?”
declares the Lord.

“These are the ones I look on with favor:
those who are humble and contrite in spirit,
and who tremble at my word.

Dear Father, Heaven is your throne. The earth is your footstool. You made all things. All things came into being at your Word, Father. May I always be humble, and I want to be humble always. May I have a contrite spirit because I am teachable with a contrite spirit. May I have reverent respect for your Word, Lord. When I have reverent respect for your Word, I am a teachable child. Thank you for humility, contriteness, and respect. I want to have these qualities always. In Jesus’ Name I Pray, Amen.
