Deuteronomy 5:11 New International Version (NIV)

11 “You shall not misuse the name of the Lord your God, for the Lord will not hold anyone guiltless who misuses his name.

Have you misused the name of the Lord? When you misuse his name, you are saying his name in an empty or worthless way. Use the Lord’s name to praise him and give him glory. Praise God and honor his name. If you have created a habit of using the Lord’s name in vain, stop. Ask God to forgive you. Then, change your behavior. Do it now.
