1 Praise awaits you, our God, in Zion;
to you our vows will be fulfilled.
2 You who answer prayer,
to you all people will come.
In Old Testament times promises were taken seriously and were fulfilled. No one had to make a promise, but once a promise was made, it was binding. If you are going to make a promise, make sure you think it through because it is important that you keep your promise. A really good promise to make is to promise to praise God daily for his answers to prayer. God loves to hear praise from you, and it will build your relationship with him.
