⁸Gilead is mine, Manasseh is mine;
    Ephraim is my helmet,
    Judah is my scepter.
⁹Moab is my washbasin,
    on Edom I toss my sandal;
    over Philistia I shout in triumph.”

Moab, Edom, and Philistia were Israel’s enemies, and they despised God and His people. There will always be those who despise God, and they will despise you. Always remember that God is for you and loves you. Keep close to God.
