9 Anyone who claims to be in the light but hates a brother or sister is still in the darkness. 10 Anyone who loves their brother and sister lives in the light, and there is nothing in them to make them stumble.
Dear Father, I want to rest in the light. I do not want to be wasting away in the darkness. May I demonstrate my love and care for others. May I act and be a trustworthy person so that I do not cause others to stumble. May I live a life that shows I love you, Jesus. May I live a life that shows my love and respect for you, God. May I live a life that shows my reliance on you, Holy Spirit, as my helper and prompter in living and loving others. Thank you. In Jesus’ Name I Pray, Amen.
