Love in Action

⁹ Love must be sincere. Hate what is evil; cling to what is good. ¹⁰ Be devoted to one another in love. Honor one another above yourselves. ¹¹ Never be lacking in zeal, but keep your spiritual fervor, serving the Lord. ¹² Be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, faithful in prayer.

Dear Lord, I want to love sincerely. I want to cling to what is good. I want to be devoted to others in love. I want to honor others above myself. I want to have zeal for your Word. I want to have spiritual energy in serving. I want to be joyful in hope. I want to be patient when going through affliction. I want to strengthen faithful prayer. Thank you for giving me a heart that desires to pursue you, Lord God. Thank you. In Jesus’ Name I Pray, Amen.
