Luke 6:33-35 New International Version (NIV)
33 And if you do good to those who are good to you, what credit is that to you? Even sinners do that. 34 And if you lend to those from whom you expect repayment, what credit is that to you? Even sinners lend to sinners, expecting to be repaid in full. 35 But love your enemies, do good to them, and lend to them without expecting to get anything back. Then your reward will be great, and you will be children of the Most High, because he is kind to the ungrateful and wicked.
Dear Lord, Help me to do good to others. Guide me in loving those who may have wronged me. Help me to help others without expecting anything in return. You tell me that my reward is great. You tell me that I am the child of the Most High. The Lord loves everyone. The Lord sends rain and sun to everyone. The Lord is kind to the ungrateful and wicked. I am to love my neighbor as myself. I will obey my Lord. In Jesus’ Name I Pray, Amen.
