A Love That Pursues
“But God shows his love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.” — Romans 5:8 (ESV)
God’s love is proactive. He didn’t wait for you to get everything right before He loved you; He met you at your worst. His love is a pursuit, seeking you out like a lost sheep, even when you wander.
Lord, thank You for loving me before I ever loved You. Thank You for pursuing me when I was far off. Let that undeserved love transform my heart and fill me with gratitude. Amen.
