1 Peter, an apostle of Jesus Christ,
To God’s elect, exiles scattered throughout the provinces of Pontus, Galatia,Cappadocia, Asia and Bithynia, 2 who have been chosen according to the foreknowledge of God the Father, through the sanctifying work of the Spirit, to be obedient to Jesus Christ and sprinkled with his blood:
Grace and peace be yours in abundance.
Dear Father, Thank you for your grace and mercy. Your elect are all over the world. You choose your elect according to your foreknowledge. You knew me before I knew you. I am thankful that you drew me to you. Now I am working out my salvation through the sanctifying of the Holy Spirit. In this I am maturing in obedience to Jesus Christ. Thank you. In Jesus’ Name I Pray, Amen.
