Hebrews 10:34-36 New International Version (NIV)

34 You suffered along with those in prison and joyfully accepted the confiscation of your property, because you knew that you yourselves had better and lasting possessions. 35 So do not throw away your confidence; it will be richly rewarded.

36 You need to persevere so that when you have done the will of God, you will receive what he has promised.

We need endurance. When we have endurance and we do the will of God, we may receive God’s promise. There is time when we do the will of God and receive his promises, and in this time span it is important for me to pray. If we stop praying, we unplug ourselves from the Lord. Do not stop. If we keep praying, we get everything. God tests perseverance.

Dear Father, What can help me in all this praying and keeping plugged into you, Lord? If I confess my faith boldly, that will help me. I will express my faith. I know that when I confess and express my faith in you, Lord, it releases God’s power. It also encourages me, and it strengthens me. Thank you. In Jesus’ Name I Pray, Amen.
