⁷ When people’s lives please the Lord,
    even their enemies are at peace with them.

⁸ Better to have little, with godliness,
    than to be rich and dishonest.

⁹ We can make our plans,
    but the Lord determines our steps.

Dear Father, When I live a pleasing life that pleases you, Lord, I have peace in my life. I do not have to have too much because when I have you, Lord, I can lead a godly life and be honest and truthful. Lord, you determine my steps and guide my plans. Thank you for leading my life.
