Joshua 2:11

11 When we heard of it, our hearts melted in fear and everyone’s courage failed because of you, for the Lord your God is God in heaven above and on the earth below.
Rahab recognized that the God of Heaven is not an ordinary god. He is all powerful. The people of Jericho were afraid because they had heard the news of God’s extraordinary power. That same God is still here today. We can worship the same powerful, miracle working God. Do you believe he is powerful enough to destroy the wicked armies of today as he did at Jericho? Yes he is. God is powerful enough to save us from certain death, as he did with Rahab.
