The Priestly Garments

28 “Have Aaron your brother brought to you from among the Israelites, along with his sons Nadab and Abihu, Eleazar and Ithamar, so they may serve me as priests.

God was teaching his people how to worship him. He needed ministers to oversee and help the people maintain their relationship with God. These men were called priests. The priests were from the tribe of Levi, and needed to be a descendent of Aaron who was Israel’s first high priest. Today, pastors lead us in prayer and teach us about our new life as Christians.
