5 Yet the Lord says, “During the forty years that I led you through the wilderness, your clothes did not wear out, nor did the sandals on your feet.
The people of Israel forgot to notice and remember God’s care for them along their journey. Are there times you may forget or do not notice all of the ways God takes care of you? Do you possibly take credit for your provision and do not recognize God’s hand in the process. Take time to notice how God is working in your life. Take time to remember what God has done for you. Make sure you thank him. Do you like to be thanked for things you do for others. It feels good when someone says ‘thank you’. Also, do you say, “Thank you.”? Make it a daily part of your day to say, “Thank you.” and to acknowledge God’s work in your life.
