Seek God When You Mess Up

¹ Lord, do not rebuke me in your anger
    or discipline me in your wrath.
² Have mercy on me, Lord, for I am faint;
    heal me, Lord, for my bones are in agony.

We can get ourselves into bad situations because of sin. When that happens, and it will, it is important to express true sorrow over it. When you go through this process, it will maintain your commitment to remain close to God. Tell God about your mistakes and seek him for the remedy.
