Joshua 1:18
New International Version
18 Whoever rebels against your word and does not obey it, whatever you may command them, will be put to death. Only be strong and courageous!”
When God commissioned Joshua, he told him three times to be strong and courageous. Joshua was also given the same encouragement from the people. Joshua took God’s message to heart. He found the strength and courage he needed, and his relationship with God was strengthened, as well. Are you afraid to do what is right? Are you struggling with a big task that is ahead of you? Remember that the strength and courage you need are readily available from God. Just ask him.
