5 The light shines in the darkness,
    and the darkness can never extinguish it.

6 God sent a man, John the Baptist, 7 to tell about the light so that everyone might believe because of his testimony.

 Dear Father, It is so amazing to my small mind how the Light of Jesus shines in the darkness. I am so glad that the darkness can never extinguish it. I can never be snatched from your Hand, Lord God. I belong to you. Thank you for the Word so that I can read and be told about the Light. I believe. I believe. I have faith. I have hope. In Jesus’ Name I Pray, Amen.
