The Lord’s Faithfulness

¹ Vindicate me, Lord,
    for I have led a blameless life;
I have trusted in the Lord
    and have not faltered.
² Test me, Lord, and try me,
    examine my heart and my mind;
³ for I have always been mindful of your unfailing love
    and have lived in reliance on your faithfulness.

David was asking for God’s help to clear his name of the false charges made against him by his enemies. David wanted God to examine him. After asking for forgiveness, God forgives sin. He can clear your record according to his mercy. We all sin. That is a fact. Keep yourself open to God, so that he can help you examine your sin and recognize it. You can work with God to overcome.
