Ezekiel 3:13-15New International Version (NIV)
13 It was the sound of the wings of the living creatures brushing against each other and the sound of the wheels beside them, a loud rumbling sound. 14 The Spirit then lifted me up and took me away, and I went in bitterness and in the anger of my spirit, with the strong hand of the Lord on me. 15 I came to the exiles who lived at Tel Aviv near the Kebar River. And there, where they were living, I sat among them for seven days—deeply distressed.
Dear Father, This world is distressing. This world has evil in it from sin. Man’s nature is to sin and to gravitate to the bad. Without you, Lord, I would be in the dark. Without you, Lord, I would think sin and doing wrong and hurting other was fine because I would be in my selfishness. I am thankful that I belong to you, Father. I am thankful for Jesus, who died for me so that I may know the truth and see the light and hear your voice. I am thankful for the Holy Spirit for helping me to grow and mature in my salvation. Thank you. In Jesus’ Name I Pray, Amen.
