Numbers 7:89 New International Version (NIV)
89 When Moses entered the tent of meeting to speak with the Lord, he heard the voice speaking to him from between the two cherubim above the atonement cover on the ark of the covenant law. In this way the Lord spoke to him.
Can you imagine what Moses felt like when he heard the voice of God? We have God’s words recorded for us! God sometimes spoke directly to his people. His words give us insight to his character. Never take the words of God lightly. We have the privilege of talking to God. He speaks and answers us in different ways according to his will and our needs. To seek guidance, get to know God and listen through his written word with the help of the Holy Spirit. Listen for God’s voice.
