Genesis 5:21-24 New International Version (NIV)
21 When Enoch had lived 65 years, he became the father of Methuselah. 22 After he became the father of Methuselah, Enoch walked faithfully with God 300 years and had other sons and daughters. 23 Altogether, Enoch lived a total of 365 years. 24 Enoch walked faithfully with God; then he was no more, because God took him away.
Dear Lord, I want to walk faithfully with you. I want to obey you. I know that when I walk with you faithfully and when I obey your Word, I am pleasing to you. I know that you give me your Word to live by so that I will be safe and remain on the narrow path. And even if I feel like life is not going the way that I feel that it should, or I am in a situation that I never thought would happen, I know that I can trust you in all things, and that you are with me. You have plans to prosper me, and not to harm me, plans to give me a hope and a future. In Jesus’ Name I Pray, Amen.
